Magistrates

Letcher County is made up of five magisterial districts. Each Magistrate is an elected representative to the Fiscal Court and works in conjunction with the County Judge Executive assisting in the administration of the county government. The Magistrates may also act as Justices of the Peace and perform marriages if authorized by the Governor or the County Judge Executive.
