Ordinance

Notice is hereby given by the Letcher County Fiscal Court that it intends to enforce Letcher County Ordinance No. 90-03, which was enacted by the Letcher County Fiscal Court and went into effect on September 1, 1990. This Ordinance requires all households in Letcher County to participate and sign up with the local garbage collection program.

This Ordinance is mandatory in nature and requires that all households subscribe to the garbage pickup service in their magisterial district.

Failure to subscribe to this mandatory garbage service is a criminal violation, which subjects violators to a fine of not less than $25.00, or more than $500.00 for each day of said violation.
